kshe 95 launched march bandness - the tournament of rock in 2004 and celebrated it's 21st year in 2025. the tournament of rock is modeled after the ncaa march madness bracket. 64 bands / artists were chosen, seeded and then went head to head in 5 daily matches. listeners were given 2 weeks to fill out and submit their bracket in a competition to win the grand prize. each band got 2 songs per match to claim victory. listener voting began with the 1st song and ended on the last note of the 4th song with the winner moving on to the next match until a champion was crowned.
From inception, I was responsible for the digital execution and the visual representation of the entire promotion. using tools provided by companies such as audience (formerly aptivada), I built the bracket and the voting application, managed the daily execution, designed all graphic assets and managed all social media engagement.
